  • Part Time Permanent | Start Date: Oct 28, 2025
  • Pay Rate: $29.42 per hour (based on current funding) + 2% in lieu of benefits
  • Hours/Shift: Monday to Friday afternoons, 2:45pm-6:00pm (3.25 hours per day)

working on a team that supports children with their physical, mental, and social development. You will assist in the creation of learning opportunities that align with children’s interests and foster cooperative social behaviours through games and group projects to support developmentally appropriate relationships with other children and adults.

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Knowledge of Early Childhood Education and development, acquired through a Degree/Diploma in ECE (and registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators), OR acquired in conjunction with other related post-secondary degree/diploma as approved by the Ministry of Education. Example: Recreation and Leisure, Child and Youth Worker, Bachelor of Education and registered with the Ontario Teachers College.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the area of Early Childhood Education and development.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff, parents, children, and the public.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check document
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
  • Vaccine Verification - As a condition of employment you are required to provide confirmation that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 or have proof of valid exemption satisfactory to the employer.
