About the role

About The Opportunity The Business Analyst will focus on analyzing and optimizing business processes and requirements related to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This role includes supporting end-users, implementing new tools and features, and ensuring systems are aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dynamics 365, and a strong background in business analysis and user support. This position is in office and requires you driving to the Hamilton area 5/days a week.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Elicit and analyze business requirements and processes from stakeholders
  • Develop detailed business requirement documentation and user stories
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization in business processes Dynamics 365 Support
  • Provide day-to-day support to end-users on Dynamics 365
  • Assist with configuration, customization, and implementation of new tools and features
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure system functionality meets business needs
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide training to users

Tool Implementation & Enhancement

  • Lead or support initiatives to implement new tools or modules within Dynamics 365
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure successful deployment
  • Project Coordination
  • Manage or support projects related to system enhancements and process improvements
  • Coordinate with departments and vendors to ensure timely delivery and adoption
  • Other Duties as Assigned

About You The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Experience with MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in X++ considered an asset
  • Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Dynamics 365 development or configuration
  • Knowledge of business process modeling and optimization techniques
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
