About the role

MISSION STATEMENT

  • Be responsible for driving the commercial success of the collections across the region. This role blends analytical discipline with a strong passion for performance-driven luxury products.
  • Lead assortment planning, sales forecasting, inventory optimization, and product performance analysis to ensure that TAG Heuer’s innovative collections reach the right clients at the right moment.
  • The role partners closely with HQ, retail, wholesale, and e-commerce to shape a cohesive and profitable product strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assortment Strategy & Product Planning
  • Build assortments aligned with TAG Heuer’s brand positioning & local business & marketing plans.
  • Recommend and forecast SKU order q’ty and product mix by market and channel based on demand trends, client profiles, and strategic priorities.
  • Influence product development feedback to HQ based on regional insights and commercial needs.
  • Sales Forecasting & Business Planning & Reporting
  • Lead the annual forecasting process, incorporating market trends, historical performance, and launch expectations.
  • Develop structured buy plans for new collections, special editions, and limited pieces for year-long launch and event
  • Regular reviews of forecasts and related KPIs with HQ and each market in GC in order to drive for more accurate results. Performance & KPI Reporting
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on sell-through, sell-in, stock turn, margin, and product productivity.
  • Prepare category reviews for leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Inventory Management
  • Manage stock rebalancing and transfer, plan for overstock and aging stock, respond to stock request from sales team, monitor stock under different locations for the most efficient stock turnover as well as maximize the product availability.
  • Drive action plans to address slow-movers and aged stock while maintaining the brand’s premium positioning.
  • Keep regular stock replenishment for all channels.
  • Stock preparation for new store opening, closure, and events.
  • Business Intelligence
  • Conduct regular and reports on demand for management to make the right decisions for business development.
  • Prepare presentations on sales trends, competitive marketplace and product performance.
  • Analyze the market data and assess commercial trends by conducting efficient market/competitive intelligence tracking, industry research and new markets investigation.
  • Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure a unified commercial strategy.
  • Work with VM and Retail teams to optimize product visibility and storytelling at POS.
  • Align product launches with marketing initiatives and campaign rollouts.
  • Various wholesale rebate and stock achievement calculations for the right sell in value, and support in wholesale buyback and exchange projects
  • Operational efficiency review and improvement to enhance the productivity.
  • Team Management
  • Ensure daily operations goes smoothly (China ML and HK/MO/TW).
  • Review of key reports and Data.

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required

  • Education: University graduate or above
  • Language: Good command of spoken and written English, French is a plus
  • Professional experience & know how:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in merchandising or planning, ideally within luxury watches, jewelry, or accessories.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency with Excel and planning tools.
  • Knowledge of Swiss watchmaking, chronographs, and digital watch trends a strong advantage.
