This position is responsible for the supporting of molding chocolate production by preparing, removing, organizing, all raw and finished materials. The Molding Line Assistant ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in SAP.
  • Enter recipe data based on the production schedule.
  • Assemble containers, label, wrap, and support setup and cleanup of the Molding line.
  • Prepare raw materials to ensure continuous line operation.
  • Track inventory, clean magnets, and document critical control points (CCPs).
  • Operate lift truck safely and follow all safety procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the production room and follow sanitation schedules.
  • Follow GMP practices and ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, Lead Hand, and Shift Supervisor to ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Support packaging and warehousing tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with BCOS (Barry Callebaut Operating System) – TPM/Lean Manufacturing.
  • Perform daily Autonomous Maintenance (AM) tasks and other duties as assigned.

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.
  • Demonstrated hoist operator experience.
  • Demonstrated lift truck experience/certification.
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods – 12-hour shifts
  • Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
  • Must be able to lift 55lbs.
  • Pushing and pulling of 55lbs.
  • Ability to work in and be exposed to heat.
