The Role
As an Investment Associate, you will work with consultants to provide first class advice to institutional clients on a range of investment-related services which can include: strategic setting of investment objectives, strategic asset allocation, investment manager structures, manager selection, performance measurement and evaluation, investment manager monitoring, custodian selection, statements of investment policy and global research services.

Tasks
- Oversee production and review of performance monitoring reports for delivery to clients by pre-determined deadlines
- Support team members in the construction and delivery of presentations to clients covering a variety of recurring and ad-hoc services
- Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients, colleagues and third-party vendors at all levels
- Work together as part of dedicated client teams providing a variety of services to clients
This role is hybrid with regular attendance to the office (expected 3 days per week)
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master's degree required in one of the following disciplines: finance, economics, administration, actuarial sciences, or related field with heavy quantitative emphasis
- Progress towards relevant professional qualifications such as CFA or FSA are considered an asset
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Interest in financial markets
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Office, more importantly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and manage time and projects individually
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
