AULT a company of Alta Equipment Group, is seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver for our Waterloo, QC branch. The main responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Summary of responsibilities

• Maintain secure records of inbound and outbound shipments
• Use system to ensure inventory is properly maintained, sales orders, purchase orders, etc.
• Pack materials for customer orders
• Unpack materials for inventory replenishment
• Ensure quality control of goods by checking incoming and outgoing shipments
• Schedule incoming and outgoing shipments
• Safely operate company vehicles: forklift, 4x4, loader, etc.
• Prepare and/or approve shipping documents (i.e. bills of lading, invoices, etc.)
• Report damaged stock or equipment to supervisor
• Ensure that all safety measures are observed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Skills required

• Bilingual, written and spoken (mandatory)
• High school diploma
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Attention to detail
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to regularly lift loads up to 70lbs
