About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the modernization and automation of software delivery pipelines across multiple cloud platforms. This role is ideal for a highly skilled practitioner who thrives in complex, distributed environments and is passionate about building resilient, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure.

You will be instrumental in designing and implementing cloud-agnostic solutions that span public, private, and hybrid cloud ecosystems. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of DevOps practices within a global organization, with the potential to evolve into a leadership role overseeing both cloud and on-prem engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Design & Deployment

Architect and deploy scalable infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt, enabling modular, reusable, and version-controlled deployments. Ensure best practices in IaC are followed across environments.

  • Kubernetes & Helm

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts. Optimize cluster performance and security while enabling rapid application delivery.

  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Implement SRE principles to enhance system reliability, observability, and incident response. Develop SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to measure and improve service health.

  • Security & Compliance

Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. Manage secrets, certificates, and identity controls across environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

  • Monitoring & Alerting

Design and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or cloud-native equivalents. Enable proactive issue detection and resolution.

  • Cost Analysis & Optimization

Analyze cloud spend and resource utilization. Recommend and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising performance or reliability.

  • Automation & CI/CD

Build and maintain automated pipelines for code integration, testing, and deployment. Use tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or cloud-native CI/CD platforms.

  • Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of DevOps culture and practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience deploying and managing infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms.

  • Deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, SRE principles, and infrastructure as code.

  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with container orchestration and cloud-native services.
