Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor helps maintain and monitors social media platforms for the Schulich School of Music. Duties include content creation, management, and data collection. Prepares and posts concert listings and programs on official Schulich School of Music platforms. Reviews Schulich School of Music website and calendar of events to ensure accuracy. In collaboration with the communications team, assists with general communications planning, draft articles and helps with the creation of other content for Schulich School of Music website and social media.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
High level of English written and oral communication skills and high level of French written and spoken. Advanced knowledge of concert music. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Willing to attend McGill web training. Social media savvy, and a desire to share the stories of the school on the web, attentive to detail, autonomous, proactive, and professional. Experience with the Adobe suite an asset
