Dauphin Consumers Co-op is hiring a Assistant Grocery Manager at our Food Store in Dauphin, MB.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the Assistant Grocery Manager will assist in managing and overseeing the operations of the Grocery Department. You will also assist in leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Co-op team.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Dauphin Consumers Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale.
- Assist in leading a culture of safety and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Assist in providing leadership through coaching, development, and feedback.
- To assist with the activities and operations of the Grocery Department to achieve budgeted goals including but not limited to ordering, merchandising, margins, expenses, culture, recruiting, scheduling, productivity, and performance.
- Procurement, receiving and merchandising of product with focus on customer- friendly presentation.
- Ensure maintenance on all equipment is completed according to schedule; follow all Health and Safety practices and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
- You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience.
- You have a minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience; CRS and Food experience is an asset.
- You are honest, trustworthy and results-oriented, with strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Have an understanding of financial statements and in developing budgets.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter
