##Summary

In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated travelling construction crew, working on projects across Ontario and occasionally across Canada. You can expect to be on the road for several weeks at a time**.**

We’re open to candidates from outside the GTA—what matters most is your willingness and ability to travel with the crew.

As a reliable and safety-focusedSkid Steer Operatoryou will support construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities include operating equipment to move materials, performing daily inspections, and basic maintenance. The operator will collaborate with the crew to ensure efficient workflow, follow site plans, and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

##Responsibilities

  • Operate a Skid Steer
  • Perform inspections related to the equipment
  • Perform basic maintenance on the equipment that you are assigned to
  • Review and follow site plans on a daily basis
  • Assist team members with their daily tasks if needed
  • Other duties as assigned

##Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience operating skid steers or similar heavy equipment is an asset
  • Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

##Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in road construction, landscaping, or site preparation
  • Knowledge of operating attachments (e.g., buckets, forks, augers, sweepers)
  • Mechanical inclined to troubleshoot minor equipment issues

##Compensation Data

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
