About the role
CGI is looking for a developer with Guidewire experience to join a project team at one of our clients in the insurance industry.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze functional and technical requirements;
- Design, code, test, and contribute to the deployment of software applications;
- Write and maintain technical documentation;
- Perform maintenance on existing applications and provide technical support to users;
- Analyze complex issues, determine root causes, and ensure follow-up;
- Participate in evaluating the fixes required to resolve issues encountered across various projects;
- Collaborate in conducting functional testing; perform unit testing and develop automated tests when required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, including 3 years in a similar role;

Strong proficiency with Guidewire Cloud and AWS;

Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, and AWS;
-
Knowledge of PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, or BillingCenter;

Major asset: GW Associate and GT Framework (automation) certifications;

Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations;

Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues;

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000–$120,000. This role is an existing vacancy / a future opportunity.
