POSITION AV Technician
LOCATION Amman Jordan
The Client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The purpose of an AV (Audio-Visual) technician is to ensure seamless integration and operation of audio and visual equipment for events, presentations, or installations. They troubleshoot technical issues, set up equipment, and provide support to ensure optimal sound and visual quality, enhancing the audience's experience.
Qualifications / Licenses / Skills
- Diploma degree in electronic/ computer/ communication engineering or any other related field. Mandatory
- 5-10 years of AV experience.Mandatory
- Good knowledge and experience in Crestron system. Mandatory
- Excellent knowledge of all Audio & Video Systems including AV processors, Home theaters, video projectors, mixers, amplifiers, microphones, speakers,
- Excellent knowledge of all types of AV cables, connectors and materials.
- Excellent knowledge of all types of CCTV systems.
- Good knowledge to operate a cinema hall.
- Talent, passion for music & AV entertainment lifestyle.
- Excellent knowledge of electronic components.
- Good computer and network skills and knowledge
- The ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematic diagrams, and related documentation.
- Excellent knowledge to repair electronic boards.
- Good command of English and Arabic (written, verbal). Mandatory
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions and make recommendations.
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
DUTIES
- Your primary role will be to resolve AV/IT problems.
- Signal loss for Cable / DTV
- Respond to and resolve Wi-Fi network outages or detect and report black spots.
- Support users who need help connecting to networks, devices and peripherals.
- Be flexible, willing to help in the maintenance team with non-AV/IT issues, such as moving equipment or helping on other odd jobs, as required.
- Maintain very good communication with your team. Sharing information is key.
- This role is a team role. You must always assist your team if needed and respond to requests promptly.
- Report all defects and follow up till done.
SALARY USD $1,200 net of taxes
