About the role
This role offers the opportunity to architect and develop robust automation solutions for a telecommunications service provider, focusing on streamlining network service management and service delivery. You will work with modern technologies such as Golang, Temporal.io, and OpenTelemetry to build scalable internal platforms that expose APIs and orchestrate asynchronous workflows. Deliverables
- Architect and develop backend automation solutions using Golang and Temporal.io
- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
- Build and maintain scalable workflows leveraging orchestration tools
- Integrate observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Golang for backend development
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments
- Ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams
- Experience with Temporal.io, telecommunications, or cloud services is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration
- Availability for a full-time, contract-based remote position
