About the role

Make your mark for patients We are looking for an Access, Pricing and External Engagement (APEX) Intern to join our APEX Team based out of Oakville, ON (hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)

About The Role The APEX Intern will be an integral part of the APEX team, who will support the organization’s transition to a more research and data driven, and digital mindset. This individual will have the chance to apply their analytical and creative skills to speed up insights generation and help the APEX team members make agile decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Developing a data driven culture within the APEX by using various sources of information such as IQVIA Data, Market Research, and information from CDA-AMC, INESSS, PMPRB and Payers’ websites etc.
  • Working with various stakeholders to generate insights and create meaningful internal analyses and reports
  • Supporting the business in finding and implementing data/technology solutions to help the APEX team in advancing UCB Canada’s Digital Business Transformation
  • Contribute to market access projects, including helping to maintain and update APEX tools for tracking payer decisions, listings and timelines
  • Support the payer invoice management process, including tracking, validation, and coordination with internal teams
  • Performing other tasks as needed, for example, creating ANF, Purchase Orders, invoice coordination with vendors, and facilitating Docusign signature process etc.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelors Degree, or Advanced Degree in business and/or science (MBA, MBiotech, etc.)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and eager to work in a digital environment (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, CoPilot etc.)
  • Ability to handle data from various sources and present key insights effectively
  • Solutions-oriented and learning mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to ensure a clear and unbiased expression of ideas and opinions
  • Proven ability to work well both independently and in a cross-functional team setting

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $ 45,000-55,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
