We are hiring a Preparation Technician for a contract position in our Mining Group. The successful candidate will be providing support with general labour activities in a warehouse environment. Please note, this is a seasonal position with an anticipated end date of October 23rd, 2026 with the possibility of extension.
What you bring to the table
Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis.
Physical fitness, ability to stand and work safely for long periods of time
Fluency in English, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment. Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail. Mature work ethic, dependable, with a willingness to work in a team as well as independently. Reliable transportation to NE Calgary. Must have steel toed shoes/boots.
What you will be doing
Repetitive tasks and heavy frequent lifting. Post secondary degree or diploma an asset. Standing for extended periods of time. The work environment can be quite warm. Protective/safety equipment must be worn.
