POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Receiver/Shunter at the Hickson, Ontario processing plant. The successful candidate will be required to work an Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday from 3pm - 11pm plus overtime as required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct pre-inspections of equipment prior to use

Move and dump trailers into production process areas

Monitor dispatch sheets to prioritize dumping of trailers

Maintain housekeeping of working areas

Accurately fill out any required production or quality paperwork

Operate backhoe and forklifts

Follow all workplace health & safety policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Class G drivers' license

Previous heavy equipment experience is an asset

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to lift, push and pull between 50+ pounds

Bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, leaning, climbing, extended hours of walking and/or standing
