Are you a highly organized, self-motivated professional with a strong understanding of government processes and a passion for effective communication? Consider joining the Communications Branch management team at the Ministry of Agriculture as our Executive Coordinator.
In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership and coordination of administrative service delivery for the branch.
- Supervise the branch’s administrative assistant and support overall team operations.
- Plan, schedule and organize meetings and events.
- Format, proofread and prepare a variety of documents using your strong computer skills.
- Oversee the branch’s SharePoint site to ensure effective file storage and organization.
- Use the ARMS system to maintain filing and archiving.
- Track, coordinate and process correspondence to ensure timely and responses.
- Offer guidance and advice to ministry staff on government processes and standards.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
- A reputation for integrity, service excellence and innovation.
- A professional, courteous approach to interacting with co-workers, clients and executives—both in person and by telephone.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required for this position would be gained through formal education and/or experience in a senior administrative position.
