Your role:

Ensure effective team management by fostering an engaging work environment

Maximize staff contribution by setting performance goals and conducting regular follow-ups

Support organizational changes and contribute to team development through a multidisciplinary approach (Business, PB1859, Insurance, PF, etc.)

Develop a competent, proactive, and engaged advisory force to deliver a superior client experience

Anticipate human resource development needs based on organizational changes and strategic directions, and address them through personalized coaching
-
Identify and develop business opportunities in your market, grow your client base, and establish business development strategies
-
Continuously improve your knowledge and that of your team in integrated advisory services for Business and PB1859
-
Maximize synergy with internal and external partners
-
Ensure maximum visibility for the Bank in the market by participating in business development activities
-
Identify and propose changes that challenge current practices to optimize process and system efficiency
-
Stay informed about economic developments affecting the sector and ensure that products and services meet evolving client needs
-
Identify and manage risks inherent to the sector’s activities
-
Create and maintain a stimulating work environment where achievement goes hand in hand with enjoyment
Your team:
Reporting to the Market Vice-President of Commercial and Private Banking 1859, you will act as a leader for the region and the team covering the greater Ottawa and Gatineau areas. The team consists of 10 professionals, including account managers and financing solutions managers.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree related to the field and 10 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree related to the field and 8 years of relevant experience

Significant experience with commercial clients
-
Strong experience in personnel management
-
Experience with complex financing structures and risk analysis
-
Ability to develop a strategic plan, primarily focused on business development and market coverage
-
Experience in sales coaching
-
Experience in negotiation
-
Knowledge of the Private Wealth Management sector is an asset
-
Ability to maximize the use of sales management tools (dashboards, etc.)
