About the role
Your Responsibilities This opportunity is a 4-month term from May – August 2026, and is based at the Bethune mine site.
Reporting to the Manager of IT and Technical Analysts at the Bethune site, the Student, Information Technology position provides the opportunity to be exposed to the full scope of company wide IT processes and infrastructure including troubleshooting, deployment of services and additional administrative tasks as needed.
The successful candidate will
- Assist with preparation of new IT hardware (SCCM imaging and software deployment).
- Set up of new user profiles, support with onboarding activities, and initial user training.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system incidents and problems.
- Provide customer support of client PCs and applications and administrate hardware/software asset management.
- Provide support to Manager, IT and other IT staff as assigned.
- Support additional tasks as required.
YOUR PROFILE

- Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies with a focus in information technology at an accredited university or technical school.
- Returning to full time studies in the fall.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
- Authorized to legally work in Canada.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license for Canada is required.
The Bethune mine is located approximately 45-minutes from Regina and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Working hours are 6 45am - 4 45pm, Monday to Thursday.
Subsidized bus transportation from Moose Jaw is available. Transportation from Regina or surrounding area is not provided.
