About the role
We are looking for a motivated1st Year Apprentice Electricianto join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to start or continue their career in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience in commercial and industrial environments.
Working alongside experienced Journeyperson Electricians, you will develop valuable skills in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance while contributing to high-quality projects for our valued clients.
###What You’ll Do
- Assist Journeyperson Electricians with electrical installations on commercial and industrial projects
- Support troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
- Assist with installing wiring, conduit, panels, and electrical components
- Help test electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment
- Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Support electrical upgrades and renovations in commercial and industrial facilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with documentation, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments
- Handle materials, tools, and equipment required for daily work tasks
- Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations
- Continue developing trade knowledge through on-the-job learning and apprenticeship training
###What We’re Looking For
- Registered or eligible to register as a1st Year Electrical Apprentice
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in the electrical trade
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn from experienced electricians
- Ability to work in commercial and industrial construction environments
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- ValidClass 5 Driver’s Licensewith a clean driver’s abstract
- Safety certifications such asFirst Aid, WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, TDG, or H2S Aliveare considered an asset
