Starting Rate:$24.63 hourly
Salary Range:$24.63 - $26.93 hourly
**Classification:**CUPE Outside Class 4
**Status:**Temporary part-time (up to 6 months)

The Opportunity: The Seasonal Equipment Operator assists in the operation and maintenance of environmental facilities.
What you will do:
-
Assist with the facility operation and maintenance.
-
Assist in the preparation of daily logging of facilities performance.
-
Respond to customer concerns and complaints.
-
Load, transport, operate, maintain, repair or arrange for repair of facilities equipment.
-
Work safely and in compliance with relevant statutes and regulations and within the safe work procedures
and directives as established by the District.
-
Undertake standby duties on a rotational basis as required.
-
Perform related duties as assigned
What you will need:
-
Minimum Grade 12 education with one year of experience.
-
Proficient in the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment, including loading and transporting.
-
Possess basic interpersonal and computer skills.
-
Hold a valid Ontario Class (D) drivers licence with a (Z) endorsement
