Therefore, we are seeking aAnalyst - Inventory Managementto join our growing team in**Calgary, Alberta.**This dynamic role will be instrumental in driving inventory performance optimization. The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for understanding supply-related issues and business needs, integrating and analyzing large data sets from various sources, designing and implementing materials management systems both internally and with third parties, and executing ongoing management of company stocks.

##Your Background

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in Materials Management within a commercial/industrial setting;
  • Ability to drive change across the business;
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills; great attention to detail;
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business culture and corporate objectives;
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Technical discipline preferred;
  • ASCM-CPIM, CSCP, SCMP designations preferred or equivalent industry experience;
  • Ability to multitask and operate under tight deadlines;
  • Superior presentation, oral and written communication skills;
  • Minimum five years’ experience in SAP MM / WM / BW / BI or other large scale inventory systems;
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

##Your Role with Our Team

  • Analyze the system information to develop solutions for optimal inventory levels that balance the cost / material availability.
  • Monitor Inventory performance optimization by business unit.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on strategies, KPI evolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive compliance for all policies, internal control standards and processes.
  • Develop recommendations, facilitate, action and report on inventory and materials optimization and improvement projects through analysis of transactional histories, business needs and facilities constraints.
  • Design and document processes and procedures for materials management, including capital requirements and production, operations and maintenance needs.
  • Define and scope necessarySAPreporting and supplemental systems to continuously improve management of company stocks.
  • Work with supply chain and business units to design, implement and train stakeholders on process execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on strategies,KPIevolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide on-going development, support and training of processes to key internal clients in the areas of inventory management, materials, material master data, demand planning and stocking strategies.
  • Provide trouble shooting support to site inventory staff and purchasing.
  • Establish and report on company KPIs and stewardship programs.
  • Execute management of company stock stored at third party locations, including transactional needs and verifications.
