Job Description
The Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) will assist the instructor in the delivery of the course HIS280Y1Y - History of China. The SIA will be responsible for the following:

Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of course materials.
- Facilitate discussions and provide support to students during office hours.
- Grade assignments and provide feedback to students.
- Attend lectures and assist in the management of the course.

Required Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in History or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience at the university level.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms.

Other Relevant Details:
- This position is part-time and will require approximately 10 hours per week.
