Position Summary
E-Learning Specialist
As a member of the Organizational Development team, the eLearning Specialist will be responsible for taking eLearning requests from subject matter experts, through the eLearning development life cycle from intake to upload onto the Learning Management System. The successful candidate will have experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, to create interactive, inclusive and engaging learning modules that function consistently on our systems. You have experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including a sound knowledge of the fundamental structures and features of an LMS, and experience working with LMS service providers. This position also supports new hire orientation and mandatory training processes throughout the organization, including all employee, physician, and volunteer groups. All roles are essential in providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and others by ensuring that health and safety policies are followed.
On a practical level, you will
- Effectively utilize course authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate to develop online learning modules and activities.
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and organizational stakeholders to create and customize eLearning solutions and online learning that improves the learning experience.
- Administrate a Learning Management System (LMS), and document management systems such as SharePoint to meet the needs of the organization.
- Project manage the design, development, execution and evaluation of eLearning initiatives.
- Work with and manage vendors, specifically within the E-learning space
- Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or equivalent (with focus on learning/instructional design).
- Project Management Certification preferred
- E-Learning Developer/Instructional Design Certification preferred
