About the role
Contributing to this role means:
- Obtaining the appropriate supplies to perform the work according to the tasks to be carried out and the project requirements;
- Masking according to workshop drawings;
- Mixing the coating product with the paint ratio recommended by the manufacturer and adding the appropriate thinner. Obtaining the correct viscosity;
- Painting steel parts according to the project's coating instructions;
- Adjusting the pressure and choosing the appropriate spray equipment;
- Controlling environmental parameters as needed;
- Following and completing the roadmap, calling the inspector when an inspection point is identified;
- When indicated, make corrections (touch-ups) and repairs.
- Inform the foreman of any problems, defects, necessary corrections, or non-conformities;
- Complete the coating product declaration form;
- Follow the surface coating procedure and use the appropriate forms;
- Comply with the requirements of the corporate quality management system (Quality Management Manual, Work Instructions, and applicable forms);
- Apply industry best practices and effective methods to ensure the improvement of our operational performance;
- Any other related tasks.
Required professional profile:
- Spoken and written languages: French and English (an asset);
- Technical knowledge: overhead cranes and steel industry;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Adaptability, autonomy, manual dexterity, initiative, and dynamism;
- Organizational, analytical, and responsibility skills.
