Scrum Master
Toronto, ON Hybrid: 2-3 days a week in-office Long time contract
Experience & Track Record
Proven experience a part of the core project management team for large, multi-year system integration programs with 25+ downstream systems and 50+ resources Skill and Toolset Competencies Advanced proficiency in maintaining detailed, fully integrated project plans (dependencies, critical path, milestones) using MS Project Advanced working knowledge of JIRA (backlog management, workflow tracking, dashboards, reporting) Proficiency with Confluence for documentation, knowledge sharing, and maintaining project artifacts Strong Excel skills (data analysis, tracking logs, reporting models) Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive communications and status reporting RAID log management (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) with clear tracking, escalation, and resolution discipline Key Attributes Demonstrated capability to monitor testing progress, coordinate test cycles, and manage defect triage processes across multiple teams Ability to lead and facilitate daily Scrum/stand up sessions with cross functional teams High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without loss of control Self-directed and highly accountable; able to operate independently with minimal supervision Comfortable working in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and evolving requirements Pragmatic mindset: able to balance speed vs. perfection and drive progress under ambiguity Solid understanding of waterfall and Agile delivery practices alongside structured project governance Strong organizational discipline and ability to maintain high quality documentation and audit trail Proven ability to identify blockers early and drive resolution across teams Ability to produce executive level status reports (clear, concise, outcome focused) and detailed operational reports for delivery teams Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to tailor messaging to executive and working-level audiences Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across large, distributed teams (~60 participants)
