Job Title: Senior Workday Systems Specialist Location: Ashcroft, BC Industry: Building Materials & Construction Salary: $115,000 - $130,000K + Benefits and RSP Matching Summary Our client, a global leader in building materials and construction solutions is seeking a Senior Workday Systems Specialist to join their HRIS team as they continue building a Workday Centre of Excellence. They are live in HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Recruitment, and Learning, and this role will act as the technical lead for assigned modules, providing full-cycle solutions and partnering with HR and business stakeholders. The Specialist will support ongoing operations, lead enhancements, and help integrate future acquisitions into the Workday ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle configuration and support for assigned Workday modules.
- Manage escalated issues, new functionality, and enhancements.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
- Support integrations for new acquisitions and system releases.
- Mentor team members and foster Workday knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of Workday configuration experience in at least one module.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and consultative skills.
- Advanced Excel and technical aptitude for HR systems.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and data integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or related field.
Assets: Workday implementation or reporting experience, agile exposure, Workday Pro Certification(s).
