Responsibilities

·      Supervise and coordinate sheet metal crews on commercial and industrial mechanical projects.

·      Plan, schedule, and assign daily work activities to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.

·      Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide installations.

·      Ensure proper installation of ductwork, fittings, hangers, and related sheet metal systems.

·      Monitor job progress, productivity, and material usage; provide daily/weekly reporting as required.

·      Maintain safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture on-site.

·      Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeypersons.

·      Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to resolve site issues.

·      Perform quality checks and troubleshoot any deficiencies in the installation.

Qualifications

·      Licensed Sheet Metal Worker (Journeyperson) with several years of experience in the trade.

·      Minimum 2–3 years of foreman or supervisory experience in mechanical construction.

·      Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, duct fabrication, and installation.

·      Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

·      Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

·      Demonstrated ability to manage crews, schedules, and material effectively.

·      Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

·      Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
