About NDT Global

NDT Global is the leading provider of inline diagnostic solutions, advanced data insights, subsea inspection, and integrity management services that safeguard energy-sector infrastructure. The company is recognized for its expertise in both ultrasonic inspection technologies—such as Pulse Echo, Pitch-and-Catch, Phased Array, and Acoustic Resonance (ART Scan)—and ultra-high-resolution Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) inspection services. These differentiated offerings, along with non-ultrasonic technologies like Inertial Measurement Units and others in development, enable NDT Global to deliver comprehensive asset integrity solutions. Innovation is at the core of NDT Global's mission. We continuously challenge the boundaries of existing technologies to deliver transformational solutions that empower the industry to achieve safer, more cost-effective pipeline management. Our commitment to research and development drives the creation of vital new methods and tools that address the evolving needs of our customers while setting new industry standards. By strategically applying inspection technologies to detect, diagnose, and model various types of threats, NDT Global provides predictive, decision-ready insights. These insights, driven by the world’s most accurate data, enable asset owners to optimize infrastructure health, drive operational efficiencies, reduce risk, and minimize their carbon footprint Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with deep expertise in network security and strong hands-on networking skills. This role is responsible for ensuring a security-by-design approach across the organization’s infrastructure, with a primary focus on network environments. The position emphasizes continuous security validation, configuration governance, and threat mitigation. While not a primary network architect role, the specialist contributes to architecture reviews and provides expert guidance to ensure secure design principles are consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce and promote a security-by-design approach across all network and infrastructure initiatives (core responsibility)
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of network and system configurations to ensure alignment with security best practices
  • Define, implement, and validate network security controls (segmentation, firewalls, zero trust, etc.)
  • Identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation efforts across network environments
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex network-related security issues
  • Troubleshoot advanced network and security problems (routing, switching, VPNs, firewall policies)
  • Review and challenge network architecture designs to ensure security requirements are embedded from the outset
  • Provide targeted advisory input into network architecture and infrastructure planning, as needed (non-primary responsibility)
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives
  • Mentor team members and advocate for secure configuration standards Required Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years in cybersecurity, with strong exposure to network environments
  • Deep understanding of network protocols and architecture (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, VPNs)
  • Proven experience with network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, segmentation)
  • Familiar with modern detection & inline enforcement
  • Strong experience in configuration reviews and security validation practices
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise networks
  • Solid understanding of modern threats, attack vectors, and defensive strategies
  • Experience working with managed detection and response (MDR) services and collaborating with external SOC providers
  • Ability to influence technical decisions without direct ownership Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience participating in or reviewing network architecture design
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, CCSP, or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud network security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and monitoring platforms
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell) What Success Looks Like
  • Security is consistently embedded early in network and infrastructure design (not retrofitted)
  • Configuration reviews systematically prevent misconfigurations and reduce risk exposure
  • Network-related incidents are minimized and resolved efficiently
  • Architecture decisions reflect strong security principles, even when driven by other teams
  • The organization maintains a mature and proactive security posture Benefits Great long-term career prospects and development opportunities Challenging tasks in innovative and diverse teams Attractive compensation system Flexible working environment
