Description:
As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will receive and triage medication orders, compound and repackage medication and prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Recent acute care hospital pharmacy technician experience, particularly in medication selection, compounding, checking, and narcotics handling. Required to wear appropriate PPE during designated tasks. (PPE includes N95 masks and respirators).
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated working knowledge of Willow Pharmacy (Connect Care). Demonstrated experience with Pyxis. Experience with pharmacy purchasing including use of Oracle systems is preferred. Ability to work in teams and independently.
