Role Reports To Packaging Supervisor
Location: North America, Canada, Ontario, Guelph
Work Location: Fully Onsite
What You Will Do Packaging Operators contribute to the Guelph team while operating solid and liquid dosage packaging equipment. This includes setup and assembly, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety and documentation standards. Operators support quality improvements and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate solid and liquid dosage packaging equipment including line setup/assembly, material handling equipment, and cleaning/sanitizing of work areas (30%)
- Perform appropriate levels of cleanliness and housekeeping as per GMP and safety standards. Maintain clean, safe operating conditions (20%)
- Complete all required training in a timely manner (10%)
- Accurately record and tag case counts, downtime, and SKU changes in Cockpit, Vorne, and Line Boards (10%)
- Operate in compliance with all GMP safety, requirements, and SOPs (10%)
- Participate in team meetings and daily shift communications with leadership and supervisor (10%)
- Perform other duties as required across assigned areas (10%)
Required Qualifications What we are looking for
- Experience in packaging or manufacturing environments
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Comfortable with documentation and operational systems
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with production management systems such as Cockpit, Vorne, and Line Boards
- Experience working in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, food, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork orientation
