The Investment Development Program: A development plan to help you reach new heights! 💚About Desjardins Wealth Management Wealth management includes all the business sectors that provide products and services designed to offer investment solutions to a wide range of clients. These products and services include group retirement savings, institutional portfolio management, investment solution development and securities brokerage services. The teams have expertise on all publicly traded and privately traded asset classes, as well as all asset classes traded on the developed and emerging markets. Their investment solutions (such as mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured notes) are made available across Canada in several distribution networks, belonging to both Desjardins and other organizations.
👉Your Mandate Your talent will be put to good use as you contribute to your host team’s diverse and exciting projects and work with professionals in the above-mentioned sectors. You’ll be an analyst in a development program . The Goal Is To Train High-level Professionals With An Integrated Vision Of The Organization’s Key Sectors. During The First Two Years, You’ll Be Given a Variety Of Mandates And Asked To
- Identify and analyze issues, do diagnostics and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Help identify your unit’s operational risks and opportunities for improvement
- Help develop and monitor cross-sector initiatives
Once you’ve completed the program after two years, you’ll have all the tools you need to pursue a promising career in one of Desjardins’s sectors.

- Problem-solving and human relations skills, the ability to build interpersonal relationships and quickly adapt to changing work environments
- Be able to work independently, demonstrate curiosity and possess excellent analytical skills
- Prioritize building relationships proactively and demonstrate flexibility
Eligibility Criteria
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student in finance, quantitative finance, portfolio management, financial analysis or any other relevant field related to investments
- Be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate or graduate degree (a minimum of 30 out of 45 credits is required)
Job Details
- Job location: Lévis or Montreal, depending on the candidate’s preference Work arrangement: Hybrid
- Number of positions available:
- Full-time permanent position, 35 hours a week
- Salary: Based on internal scales in effect, plus a competitive annual bonus
- Benefits 💰: Comprehensive insurance plan, defined benefit pension plan, reimbursement of health and wellness and ergonomic equipment expenses, etc.
- Start date: 2026, depending on the candidate’s availability
