Leasing Agent - Stratford Location

OVERVIEW

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within Southwestern Ontario’s growing property management industry.

Our goal is to create a positive and seamless leasing experience by treating every prospect with respect and guiding them through each stage of the process—from initial qualification to final approval.

The ideal candidate has a strong customer service background and is highly organized, personable, and confident in their communication. They are comfortable using software, including the Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience as a Leasing Agent is an asset but not required as training will be provided for the right individual.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Assist with marketing available properties through online platforms, social media, and in-person showings.
  • Respond to all emails, phone calls, and website inquiries, providing general information and starting the pre-qualification process.
  • Ensure tablets are charged and working for prospects will use to registered and submit applications during open houses, ensure printed materials are on-site such as printed applications, brochures (and other marketing materials).
  • Scheduling, organizing, and facilitating suite and building tours, including any open houses to highlight key features to prospective tenants.
  • Process rental applications, document collection, background checks, and lease agreements
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the community, representing it with enthusiasm and pride.
  • Ensure the management office is welcoming and inviting for all guests.
  • Participate in community events to engage with residents and prospective tenants.
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist with addressing tenant concerns and coordinating resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Provide move-in and move-out inspections, ensuring units are well-maintained.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely repairs.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance and upkeep.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or sales is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of Fair Housing laws and lease agreements is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to grow into a leadership role.
  • The potential to transition into a Property Manager role in the future.
