We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our Group Sales team, working from our Calgary office in support of Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, a world-class resort nestled in the heart of Kananaskis Country. As part of the Autograph Collection by Marriott, the Lodge offers guests a premium luxury experience, surrounded by stunning scenery, alpine adventure, and elevated hospitality. You’ll be part of a sales team that brings this experience to life by attracting group business and building strong client relationships.
About The Role As our Sales Coordinator, you will be the go-to support for the Group Sales department, ensuring seamless communication, smooth operations, and high-impact presentation of our offerings. This is an ideal role for someone looking to grow their career in hospitality sales, while being based in the city and working closely with a high-performing remote sales team.
Reporting to the Director of Group Sales, this position will support a range of sales activities including proposals, reporting, lead management, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities We believe the right attitude and communication style are more important than hard skills, which can be trained. You'll do well in this role if you're a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and enjoy balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Support Sales Managers with creation and formatting of proposals and contracts
- Respond to general group sales inquiries and provide initial resort information
- Qualify incoming leads and assign them to the appropriate Sales Manager
- Maintain and update client profiles, lead status, and communication logs in the sales database
- Coordinate internal approvals for rates, proposals, and contract terms
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other materials as needed
- Assist in organizing site inspections and familiarization (FAM) tours for potential clients
- Manage inventory and shipping of sales kits, promotional items, and tradeshow materials
- Support execution of department projects and initiatives as directed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales support or administrative role (hospitality experience is a strong asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- A professional and polished demeanor with an understanding of premium/luxury hospitality environments
- Familiarity with OPERA, CI/TY, or Sales & Catering software is considered an asset
