Compensation and Schedule:
- Starting at $ 22.55 per hour
- Scheduled from Tuesday to Saturday 7 am start until 3:30 pm (Occasional overtime as required)
As a Warehouse Worker and Delivery Assistant, you will
- WAREHOUSE:
- Receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials in an organized fashion
- Processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
- Safe operation of warehousing equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- Maintaining warehouse safety and cleanliness
- DELIVERY:
- Greet and explain the delivery process to each of our customers in a professional manner
- Safely handle and install our unique range of products into our customers’ homes. This is heavy work, but hey, you essentially get paid to work out!
- Work daily with a trained delivery partner (Who knows, could be the start of a new friendship.)
- Complete the required paperwork for each delivery (and we will even provide the pen!)
To be successful in this role, you should have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years warehouse experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract
- Experience operating 5 ton truck or other large vehicle is considered an asset
- Stand-up/Sit-down counter balance experience and certification
- Ability to do some lifting and meet physical demands
- A strong appreciation for personal safety and that of others
