We are looking for a dedicated, reliable and outgoing Receptionist to provide clerical support to the Cultural Program. The ideal candidate will be required to provide a variety of specialized duties to assist and support the LLRIB Health Services programs and services. About the facility: LLRIBHS promotes health in our communities for the wellbeing of all members. We provide accessible, high quality health services and programs. Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we address both acute care needs and the determinants of health.
About the position: Providing general office functions: operate a switch board, typing, operating office equipment, coordinate & distribute incoming mail & supplies.
Duties:
- Participate in scheduling staff meetings, records, type and distribute minutes;
- Maintain general office supply inventory;
- Maintain positive public relations;
- Maintain central filing system;
- Communicate in a clear, accurate and respectful manner
- Order coffee supplies as required for the Health Services administration buildings;
- Frequent contact with LLRIBHS staff with information regarding current community needs, program changes and use of resources;
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 10; training and/or experience in administration or related field preferred (Combination of education and relevant experience may be considered);
- Experience and knowledge with computers and office equipment;
- Willing to obtain additional training;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Ability to speak/understand Cree is a definite asset;
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License;
- Experience working with First Nations communities is a definite asset;

Located in north-central Saskatchewan, the Lac La Ronge Indian Band is the largest First Nation in Saskatchewan, and one of the 10 largest in Canada, with a population of 11370, as of March 31st, 2021.
