What You'll Do:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our Analytics team building our new "Insights as a Service" platform. This role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring data quality for our self-serve client portal. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical skills in backend data engineering and a strong aptitude for problem-solving and effective collaboration.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines from cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) into our visualization platform to ensure accurate and timely data availability
- Develop data architectures and flows that support both internal teams and external brand partners
- Troubleshoot data issues by investigating problems and working backwards to identify root causes in pipelines and data flows
- Ensure data quality assurance through systematic validation processes and proactive issue identification
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and define technical solutions that address business problems
- Work with cross-functional teams including corporate data measurement teams and data engineering squads
- Support the creation of queries and technical infrastructure for visualization dashboards
- Engage with both internal and external clients to understand data needs and translate requirements into technical solutions
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in computer science, data engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Strong backend technical experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data architecture design
- Proficiency in cloud platforms , particularly GCP and Azure
- Experience with data visualization tools - DOMO experience highly preferred but not required
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues
- Excellent communication skills
- ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Quality assurance experience with data validation and testing processes
- Collaborative approach
- exceptional team player who can work cross-functionally
- Curiosity-driven
- naturally asks questions to understand requirements and identify potential issues
- Requirements gathering skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail media, digital advertising, or marketing analytics

- Experience with self-serve analytics platforms
