WHAT YOU’LL DO We are seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Director, E-commerce & Growth Marketing to lead profitable digital growth across Vivazen’s portfolio of brands.
This role will own ecommerce performance, paid acquisition, digital customer journeys, retention, testing, reporting, and growth strategy across owned channels and emerging platforms. You will be responsible for driving demand, conversion, repeat purchase, and lifetime value while keeping a clear eye on profitability.
This is not a passive agency-management role. You will set strategy, manage performance, and get directly into the work. That means reading the numbers, steering spend, shaping creative, improving funnels, testing new channels, and personally editing or producing creative when needed.
You will also help build a modern, AI-first marketing engine. Vivazen has a deep library of brand stories, science, product education, customer insights, and creative ideas. Your job is to turn that raw material into produced, distributed, measured, and optimized marketing without relying on a large traditional team. You will work closely with internal partners and technical resources to automate repeatable content, media, lifecycle, and reporting workflows.
This role reports to the SVP of Marketing and will be instrumental in scaling Vivazen’s online presence, ecommerce revenue, and multi-brand digital growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES Own and execute ecommerce and digital growth strategy across Vivazen’s portfolio of brands. Drive profitable customer acquisition across paid media, organic, CRM, retention, lifecycle, marketplace, and emerging digital channels. Lead paid media strategy and optimization across Meta, Google, YouTube, search, social, display, and additional channels as appropriate. Identify and test new growth opportunities, including platforms such as Reddit, Rumble, community-driven channels, earned media, and other emerging areas where Vivazen can build authority and demand. Own core digital performance metrics, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rate, repeat purchase, retention, contribution margin, funnel performance, and revenue growth. Build and manage a disciplined testing program across creative, audiences, offers, landing pages, funnels, pricing, bundles, promotions, and channels. Optimize the full customer journey from first click through conversion, retention, loyalty, and long-term value. Improve website performance, conversion rate optimization, UX, merchandising, checkout flow, and abandonment reduction. Use data to inform pricing strategy, promotional planning, bundling, customer segmentation, and lifecycle campaigns. Partner with brand, creative, product, sales, and leadership teams to develop campaigns that convert while staying true to brand strategy. Lead creative direction for performance marketing, including concepts, briefs, hooks, offers, messaging, video ads, static ads, landing pages, and testing frameworks. Personally edit, shape, or produce creative assets when needed, including video cuts, static ads, landing page content, and campaign assets. Build clear dashboards and reporting rhythms that show digital performance, business impact, and recommended actions. Deliver weekly insights on campaign performance, ecommerce results, customer behavior, and growth opportunities. Manage agency, vendor, freelance, and platform relationships as needed, while maintaining direct ownership of strategy and outcomes. Build and maintain productive working relationships with major ad platforms, including Meta and Google, and navigate approval, policy, and account issues in a regulated category. Work with technical, AI, or automation resources to turn repeatable manual marketing tasks into scalable AI-driven workflows. Help create automated systems for content production, paid-media testing, lifecycle campaigns, reporting, and creative iteration.
REQUIREMENTS 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, DTC growth, or performance marketing, ideally within a fast-moving consumer brand. Proven experience scaling ecommerce revenue and paid acquisition profitably. Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, paid search, paid social, SEO/SEM, analytics platforms, CRM tools, ecommerce platforms, and digital reporting. Experience working in a regulated, restricted, or policy-sensitive category such as supplements, botanicals, cannabis, alcohol, vape, caffeine, online gaming, or similar industries. Strong understanding of ecommerce economics, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention, conversion rate, contribution margin, cohorts, attribution, and incrementality. Demonstrated ability to build and implement digital marketing strategies that drive profitable growth. Experience managing multi-brand, multi-website, or portfolio-style digital environments strongly preferred. Hands-on creative ability. You should be able to personally edit video, shape static ads, refine landing page creative, or improve campaign assets without relying entirely on an outside team. Proficiency with at least one video editing tool such as Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. Proficiency with at least one design or creative tool such as Canva, Photoshop, Figma, or similar. Strong analytical ability with the judgment to turn data into action. Experience with A/B testing, CRO, funnel analytics, lifecycle marketing, and digital merchandising. Comfort using AI tools for marketing, content creation, creative development, reporting, analysis, or workflow automation. Strong financial acumen and ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, ecommerce, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered. NICE TO HAVE Experience marketing multiple brands or working inside a portfolio, incubator, or holding-company environment. Experience with AI creative tools for video generation, image creation, copy development, campaign ideation, or creative enhancement. Experience building automated workflows, agent-based systems, lifecycle automations, or AI-assisted marketing pipelines. Existing platform relationships at Meta, Google, YouTube, or other major digital advertising channels. Experience with third-party marketplaces in addition to owned ecommerce channels. Experience in both startup-style environments and more mature performance-driven organizations.
COMPENSATION A competitive base salary will be provided, along with a performance-based bonus plan. This role will contribute directly to Vivazen’s next phase of growth and will be rewarded based on meaningful business impact. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role.
