Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (VanPile) is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team and support one of our major project sites in Prince Rupert. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a high‑profile marine construction project in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

This is a fly‑in, fly‑out position with a two‑week on / one‑week off rotation. We provide full accommodation and covered travel expenses for the duration of this 8‑month full‑time contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications to support successful project execution
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and construction schedules
  • Support field teams with construction procedures, sequencing, and best practices
  • Track project costing, financial performance, and prepare progress reporting
  • Establish and maintain project cost codes and ensure proper documentation
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination, deliverables, and communication
  • Maintain accurate project records, logs, and document control processes

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 5+ years experience supporting heavy construction projects (marine experience an asset)
  • A degree in Engineering or a Civil Technology diploma
  • Proficiency in cost control, estimating, and planning techniques
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project
  • A proactive mindset and a strong desire to learn and grow in marine construction
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a field‑based environment

  • Document control, reporting, and project documentation

  • Ability to adapt in fast‑paced, changing project conditions

Compensation

Salary range:$75,000 – $100,000 per annum

The actual salary offered will be based on job‑related factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, and Carlson Construction Group’s compensation policies.
