Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Job Summary: We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator for our manufacturing client in London! The Logistics Coordinator oversees the full order fulfillment cycle, from the receipt of customer purchase orders through to final delivery and invoicing follow-up. This position works collaboratively with customers, production planning, warehouse teams, transportation partners, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to support accurate, on-time shipments while maintaining clear communication and proper documentation throughout the process. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional coordination to ensure customer expectations, production schedules, transportation logistics, customs requirements, and proof of delivery processes are executed efficiently and effectively. Job Type: Full-time, permanent. 100% on-site. Job Location: London, ON Compensation Structure: : $65,000-$80,000 per annum (depending on experience) Responsibilities: Review incoming customer purchase orders (POs) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with requirements. Process and enter customer orders into the ERP/system accurately and within required timelines. Collaborate with production planning and scheduling teams to confirm manufacturing timelines and shipment readiness. Coordinate with carriers and transportation providers to secure freight availability and arrange outbound pickups. Manage shipment scheduling and pickup coordination with warehouse operations and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Prepare and validate shipping documentation to ensure compliance with customer, carrier, and operational requirements. Support the preparation and coordination of customs and international shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and applicable import/export paperwork. Communicate with customs brokers and relevant authorities to facilitate documentation reviews, shipment clearance, and issue resolution. Provide ongoing updates to customers regarding order progress, shipment timing, delivery schedules, and any potential delays. Act as the central communication point between customers, warehouse teams, transportation partners, customs brokers, and 3PL providers. Monitor shipments from dispatch through delivery and proactively address transportation issues or service disruptions. Collect, track, and maintain proof of delivery (POD) records for completed shipments. Assist with invoicing follow-up activities, including shipment verification, supporting documentation, and coordination with finance/accounting teams as needed. Investigate and resolve logistics-related issues such as shipping discrepancies, delivery concerns, missing PODs, freight delays, and documentation gaps. Ensure logistics operations comply with internal procedures, customer expectations, and applicable customs and trade regulations. Maintain organized and accurate records of orders, shipments, transportation activity, customs documentation, PODs, and related communications. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve logistics processes, operational efficiency, service delivery, and cross-functional communication. Other duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field preferred. 2–4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, customer order management, or supply chain coordination. Experience coordinating domestic and/or international shipments. Experience working with ERP systems and order entry processes. Knowledge of shipping documentation, customs/export documentation, and carrier coordination. Experience working with warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, and/or 3PL providers. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and ERP/order management systems.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments. Familiarity with Incoterms, freight terms, and international shipping processes. Knowledge of import/export compliance requirements. Experience with transportation booking platforms or logistics management tools. Bilingual skills are a plus, depending on customer and regional requirements
