Job Summary:

At Vitalis Equipment, your contributions support high-performance industrial equipment used worldwide. You’ll gain valuable experience in inventory, logistics, and manufacturing support while working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Vitalis is recruiting for a Parts Person who will report directly to the Parts and Service Manager. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic production and support environment, providing critical parts and service support for our manufacturing, sales, and service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer parts orders to support manufacturing, sales, and service
  • Handle shipping and receiving, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
  • Process ERP system transactions: purchase order receiving, inventory transfers, issuing to sales orders, and return material acquisitions
  • Maintain physical inventory in an organized and efficient manner
  • Participate in and lead physical inventory counts
  • Pick, package, and issue parts to internal and external customers
  • Support team members and provide excellent internal customer service
  • Track and document quality control information (e.g., MTRs, Certificates of Compliance)
  • Assist with planning and implementing supply chain improvement projects
  • Manage the tool crib and ensure proper inventory of tools and equipment
  • Report regularly to the Parts and Service Manager on inventory, orders, and workflow status

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completed Parts Technician training (mandatory)
  • Parts and warehouse experience (ERP experience preferred; Odoo experience an asset)
  • Ability to read production drawings, eDrawings and P&ID’s
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
  • Forklift certification and experience an asset
  • First Aid Level 1 or similar training is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and general computer literacy
  • Able to lift and move up to 40 lbs. (18 kg) safely
  • Safety-conscious and committed to following company policies
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive impact on team culture
