Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Co-op student to assist with the creation of automated test scripts using ServiceNow's Automated Test Framework (ATF). This role involves completing a series of on-demand training courses and working closely with service owners to develop and maintain test scripts for various catalog items and standard processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete the following on-demand training courses on Now Learning:
  • System Administrator Career Journey (10 Days 19 Hours 50 Minutes)
  • Automated Test Framework (ATF): Introduction (45 Minutes)
  • Automated Test Framework (ATF): Administration (2 Hours 5 Minutes)
  • Automated Test Framework (ATF) Essentials (8 Hours 5 Minutes)
  • Automated Test Framework (ATF): Run Tests and Test Suites (1 Hour 50 Minutes)
  • Automated Test Framework (ATF): Create and Schedule Tests and Test Suites (2 Hours 20 Minutes)
  • Automated Test Framework (ATF): Additional Tips, Techniques, and Resources (1 Hour 5 Minutes)
  • Other courses as requested at the discretion of the Manager
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for various catalog items and standard processes.
• Collaborate with service owners to understand underlying processes and ensure test steps accurately reflect user actions.
• Track, document, and communicate test results, reporting on the success and failure of created items.
• Troubleshoot issues and seek assistance as needed to debug or suggest improvements.
• Maintain a high level of personal discipline and productivity in a remote work environment.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure proper comprehension of requirements and provide necessary updates.
• Develop documentation and potential training content to ensure future stakeholders are aware of the created content and its maintenance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering).
• Strong interest in automated testing and ServiceNow platform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms is a plus.

The expected salary range for this position is $15 to $20 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
