NOW HIRING: Auto Body Paint Prepper

LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Dartmouth Crossing, NS

HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week.

WAGES: $18.00 - 22.00 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience, flat rate is an option)

THE PERFECT FIT:

You’re a detail-oriented, reliable, and customer-focused individual who excels in both team and independent environments. You have previous experience as an auto body prepper or in a related field, and your goal is to ensure vehicles look their best with high-quality finishes and top-notch customer satisfaction.

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be reliable and show initiative

• Applicant must be capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Must have a valid Canadian driver’s license

• You are physically capable of doing the job which includes frequently bending, crouching, reaching. You are also able to handle tools and lift approximately 50lbs.

• Previous experience is necessary. Additional training will be provided.

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare the vehicle for paint after the Body Technicians finish the repairs to a vehicle.

• Sanding

• Application of primer base coat colour and clear coat

• Masking of vehicles

• Moving vehicles in and out of shop

• Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions
