Food Service Worker
Reporting to the Ancillary Services Manager, and utilizing a service excellence approach, the successful candidate will be responsible for kitchen and cashier duties for the College Cafeterias.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing cashier duties
- Providing courteous and efficient customer service
- Replenishing and maintaining grab & go coolers, and preparing and maintaining coffee bar
- Making sandwiches, wraps, pizza, etc., and baked goods
- Providing short order line services
- Setting up, servicing and cleaning up for events
- Operating kitchen equipment as required
- Performing general cleaning duties including:
- Setting up, operating and cleaning dishwasher
- Maintaining food service area and cafeteria in an orderly and hygienic manner
- Providing laundry services for the cafeteria; and hand washing kitchen equipment/utensils as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Education and Experience
- High school graduation
- Minimum of one (1) year related food service and banquet experience
- Serving It Right Certification would be considered an asset
- Food Safe Level I
- WHMIS certification
This is a temporary, part-time (40%) position, commencing September 8, 2025, and ending March 31, 2026**. Salary will be Pay Grade 4, $28.14 per hour in accordance with the PPWC Collective Agreement.**
