About the role

Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am

Starting Wage: $20 per hour

Undertakes all activities involving dewax as requested and ensures respect to company quality procedures.

  • Dewax solid and shell molds in preparation for firing

  • Visually checks molds for any defects or irregularities

  • Follows all procedures when using and operating auto-clave and the steam chambers

  • Identify molds with the proper die numbers prior to loading into the firing furnace

  • Transfer from holding tank to conditioning tank

  • Helps load the furnaces

  • Cross trained in a variety of areas throughout the facility

  • Must read, write, and comprehend verbal and activity instructions.

  • Must acquire knowledge for acceptable/non acceptable requirements for castings by being able to interpret and understand visual specifications.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions .

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Follows all Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures

  • Follows all Quality policies and procedures as stated in the Quality Management System
