About the role
Job Duties:
- Supervise and lead team members, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure efficient operations.
- Review merchandising and sales strategies by analyzing sales trends and collaborating with management to optimize product placement, advertising, and promotions.
- Address and resolve escalated customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Ensure grocery shelves are well-stocked, clean, and organized to maximize appeal and efficiency, while implementing inventory rotation to reduce waste and expired products.
- Plan, set up, and maintain attractive displays that drive sales and align with store promotions.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries, manage inventory placement, and maintain organized storage areas..
- Provide regular updates to management on store performance, customer feedback, and team achievements or challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a grocery store
- Knowledge of grocery inventory management and ordering processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
