ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is seeking a dynamic self-motivated professional to join our team as a Regional Manager for our Line Haul Division. Reporting to the Director, this role is a key member of the Line Haul team and is responsible for providing operational expertise, leadership, and strategic guidance to our GTA operations team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in driving performance, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of transportation services across the region.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the daily operations of the company’s line haul division, including dispatch, routing, scheduling, and load planning.
• Manage all Broker and third-party carrier relationships
• Lead and support operational staff to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies and safety standards.
• Monitor fleet utilization, maintenance scheduling, and operational performance
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
• Assist with budgeting, cost control and continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years of experience in the transportation, logistics or fleet industry.
• Previous supervisor or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management and safety compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel on occasion to support Operations
