Compensation
$31.50 – $42.50 per hour, based on experience (four-point competitive scale).

Location
London & Parkhill, Ontario
Schedule
32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some evenings and weekends as required to meet program needs.

What You’ll Do
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing support and direct care to youth aged 12–18 in live-in intensive treatment group care settings focused on assessment, stabilization, and skill development. The role is based within a program-embedded, team-based environment and operates with clinical collaboration and oversight.
Your work will include:
- Providing hands-on, daily living support and direct care in alignment with individualized care plans
- Supporting the implementation of treatment plans through observation, documentation, and communication with clinical staff
- Assisting with coordination of medical and allied health appointments, as directed
- Creating and maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Providing consistent supervision and support to participant
- Supporting youth in building life skills and positive, pro-social community engagement
- Collaborating closely with program and clinical teams to support continuity of care and transitions
- Demonstrating a clear commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice
What You Bring
- Experience working with children, youth, or individuals with mental health or complex support needs is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide supportive, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care within a team-based environment
- Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to share relevant information with clinical and program staff
- Ability to work within established care plans, policies, and clinical direction
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and reliability in a congregate care setting
- Experience with crisis prevention, de-escalation, and behaviour support appropriate to the role
- Comfort using basic computer systems for documentation and communication
- Fluent written and spoken English; multilingualism is an asset
Requirements
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO)
- Valid Class G (full) Driver’s Licence with a 3-year Uncertified Driver Record and access to a reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory Broad Record Check (issued within the last 6 months)
- Physical Health Assessment, including:
- Verification of required immunizations
- Negative TB Skin Test (within the last 6 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination status
- Ability to meet the physical and psychological demands of the position
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C with AED (preferred)
