Position Title: Clinical Education Coordinator
Available: September 2025

Reporting to the Associate Deans of Clinical Education on both campuses, the successful candidate will be positioned to assist and support the clinical education department and ensure the ongoing development and success of the new curriculum. The role will be responsible for the following key areas:
1. Program Coordination & Administration
- Support scheduling of courses, faculty assignments, and student clinical rotations.
- Support for administration of policies and procedures to enhance program efficiency and student experience.
2. Faculty Support
- Support the onboarding and coaching of new faculty, ensuring they are well-prepared for their clinical roles.
- Assist clinic faculty in achieving student-centered teaching approaches, workplace-based assessment expectations, and related feedback and teaching skills development.
3. Student Support
- Support and assist with orientation sessions for new student clinical cohorts.
- Support and assist with student mentorship programs that provide clinic advising and remedial support to students in the clinical program.
- Support in the development of materials, training for the Clinical Education Peer-Assisted Learning program. Support in the oversight and guidance of peer-mentor activities.
- Assist in monitoring student progress in clinical settings and ensure competency-based assessments are completed.
4. Clinical Training & Partnerships
- Support external clinic observation (preceptorship) and clinical externships with naturopathic practitioners and clinics by assisting in a review of sites and practitioners and support of externship hosts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of a CNME accredited naturopathic medical program and eligible to be registered as a ND in Ontario or British Columbia
- Post graduate degree or certificate in Education an asset
- Knowledge of clinical education principles and competency-based learning models is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders across campuses.
- Experience in facilitation, developing educational materials, and providing constructive feedback.
- Project management skills to assist in the development and implementation, of a wide variety of projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of persons
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), is Canada’s premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine.
