Why join our Organizational Configuration Management team?
The Specialist, document configuration is a member of the engineering documentation management team. He/she is responsible for the configuration and documentation management for several complex design projects.
As a Specialist, document configuration, your key responsibilities include:

Organizing and coordinating the configuration and document management (revisions, versions, releases) as well as deliverables within established configuration plans
-
Performing tasks related to at least one type of configuration product, whether software files, technical drawings, or manufacturing documents
-
Responding to customer requests for proposals to confirm compliance with required standards and processes, developing relevant program configuration plans
-
Participating in project meetings, customer reviews, and relevant audits, as required
-
Coordinating ongoing internal work, resolving configuration issues, validating document quality, ensuring deadlines are met, and preparing progress reports
-
Preparing, reviewing, and formatting documents for internal clients
-
Supporting and coordinating process improvement initiatives and issuing work instructions related to department configuration

Training engineers and users regarding configuration management tools and processes
To excel in this role, you should have:
-
College diploma in administration or related discipline
-
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience during which the candidate has progressively acquired responsibilities
-
Proficiency in managing at least one type of configuration product (including software files, technical drawings, or manufacturing documents), with demonstrated knowledge of at least one other type.

Bilingual French and English, written and spoken
